In order to improve your English, you and your classmates must decide to attend one of the summer camps listed below. Take a careful look at each of them, think about some of the good and bad points and choose one.

Prompt: Write compare and contrast essay about 'Camp Big Apple', 'Ranch West Camp' 'Head Start Splash'.

Compare and Contrasting Camps
My group Hyun Ji, Yun Ji, and I compared and contrasted 'Ranch West Camp' with another camp, which is 'Camp Big Apple'. However there were three options: Camp Big Apple, Ranch West Camp, and Head Strat Splash. We talked about why we all chose Ranch West to go. We talked freely so we had many new ideas. Also Mr. Reardon and we discussed about this topic, so it was much more easier to write this essay. I liked this topic because I can compare and contrast those camps with camp GLPS(Global Leadership Program for Students) which I belong. As Camp Big Apple and Ranch West camp have different names, they will have differences, and similarities.
To compare two camps there is one point that both camps are same: they go out door activities. This is good for students because if they need to rest, they can rest by experiencing new things. if we go to Camp Big Apple, we can do city tour, go to museums, and go to Broadway show and if we go to Ranch West Camp, we do horse back riding, river rafting, hiking, canoeing, and mountain biking.          To contrast Camp Big Apple and Ranch West camp I have two points. There are different because students live at different places while they are joining those two camps. Moreover, their studying styles are different. In Camp Big Apple they study intensively in math and vocabulary. This program is good for students because math and English is really important for us but we will get bored quickly. In contrast, when we go to Ranch West camp, we can select what subject we want to learn. Also we can experience new things that we never did in urban communities. Even though if we can select subject that we want to study, we cannot learn other subjects that we really need to study.
Camp Big Apple and Ranch West camp are similar because they have outdoor activities and also they are diffferent because students stay at different places when they join two camps, and their studing styles are different. If I can go to one of this camp after GLPS camp, I will still go to Ranch West camp because I want to experience a life in rural Canada.

Creative Spooky Story

Spooky Apartment

It was almost night. Two men who are wearing masks sought in to the apartment. But they didn't know that the apartment was spooky. As you can see the picture, there was nothing next to that building. Even animals know that that building is a building for ghosts.
When two thieves went inside the building, they heard a scream.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!"
Thy got scared but they went inside room 606 and they saw a blurred image. It looked at them! So they ran away. Because the two thieves left their knives in the apartment so they got caught.
But I know that who they are and what was that scream. First, a blurred image was a student in the dormitory.(actually the picture is a dormitory in KMLA.) She was studying with her cellphone lights because she didn't go to second study period and she forgot her homework. Next, the scream was also a students, who was surprised because of his PA seeking into his room, checking rather students are sleeping.
Don't be afraid KMLA dormitory is not spooky.

Paraphrase & Summarize and Two Animal Attacks (1)

[Shark Attacks] - summarize
When we go to swimming, we might be attacked by a shark. However, it is rare to be happen. It is more likely to be banged by lightning. For example, 180 people are banged by lightning every year, but only 11 people die because of shark attacks. Also it is more likely to drown than to be attacked by a shark. About 1 in 3.5 million drown at the beach but only 1 in 11 million are attacked by a shark.
But to be safe, we need to travel in groups and get out of the water if we have a cut.

[Bear Attacks] - paraphrase (paragraph 6)
There are two ways to be save with bear attacks. First, we should travel in groups because bear usually does not attack groups. Next, we should calm down when we see bear. Bears attack when we try to run away.

Once upon a time there was an evil elf who tried to conquer all the people in the world. But she was too weak, small, and old. Non of elves liked her. This was the reason why she became enil.
One day, she went to sky park because if she doesn't practice to fly, she cannot fly anymore. When she tried to fly, she bumped with an old evil elf. He was writing a plan to conquer all people in the world. She was interested about his plan. So she said "If you have time to talk can we?" and he said "Sure. No problem."
She asked why he made this plan, but he didn't tell her. She said "I'll be your best friend. I will always work for you" So he told her that he was abandoned from his family and he lived all by himself. And today, he planed to revenge to people. She told him that she will help his plan. As a result they became a team.
Every night, they went to wooden house in the forest to make a bomb that makes people to follow one person that says secreat code 'PALASALUKY'. But you should remember that they both are evil.

What does Japanese eat?

When we say Japan, we can think of Sushi, ramen, et cetera. According to About.com, "sushi is often eaten to celebrate special occasions. Chirashi-zushi (scattered sushi), maki-zushi (sushi rolls), inari-zushi (brown bag sushi) are commonly cooked at home, following family recipes. Sushi delivery is also commmon. Japanese people order sushi for special occasions"(Shizuko Mishima). Sushi's prise can be high or low depending on what kind of sushi we eat. However, Japanese eat other foods commonly too.
Japan-guide.com says that traditional Japanese breakfast is rice and miso soup but Japanese eating style changed to Westeren eating syle arround 150 years. Today people usually eat bread, rice, miso soup, yogurt, egg, natto, jam, sausage, seaweed, pickles, cheese, and pancakes. They usually drink milk, coffee, green tea, English tea, and orangejuice. 20 percent of Japanese eat Western style breakfast and 24 percent of them eat Japanese style breakfast. Most of pelple which is 40 percent, they eat both of them and 13 percent does not eat  breakfast. (http://www.japan-guide.com/topic/0007.html)
japan.osu.edu says they eat Sushi, soba noodles or rice, curry rice, bread, noodles or rice, fish, bread for lunch. We canknow that Japanese usually eat noodles and breads usually. In school students sometimes eat meat and stew, fish, vegetables, salad, bread, fruit, and milk. In South Korea, almost all of the people eat rice, and other side dishes. I cannot find what Japanese usually eat for dinner because they just cook foods in freezer that they can cook fast and easy.
Japanese eat foods like bread and noodle the most for their daily meal. I want to try breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Japan. Although I want to try  it but I like Korean meal the most because I am Korean.
